The Bag O' CO2 has a shelf life of one year. Typically, CO2 bags arrive to the end customer in 1-4 months. End customers break the seal between the activated mushroom culture and our special compost. After that point, the bag would have more than 8 months before it runs out of its breath. This means Bag O' CO2 is as fresh as it can be.

CO2 alone is not enough for a great harvest. Plants need sufficient amount of light in order to use the extra CO2 that you are supplementing your garden with. With water, CO2 and photosynthetic photons, photosynthesis happens and when you improve these three factors proportionally, then you will get the harvest of your life.
